Vacation....half over :(

Well hello there :) I have been MIA kinda...I've been on vacation since 4am Wednesday morning!

We flew outta KC at 7am and got to Colorado and drove straight up to Estes Park. We had the cutest cabin with a private hot tub so the kids loved it. We wandered around town Wednesday and then ordered a pizza and vegged that night. We were pooped! We saw deer right outside our cabin!

Thursday we got up and went to The Stanley Hotel . For those that don't know, that is where the movie The Shining was based upon, they even have ghost tours!! After that we spent most of the day driving through the Rocky Mountain National Park. We drove the entire way through on Trail Ridge Road to Grand Lake where we stopped and ate lunch. We saw tons of elk along the way as well. That night we just vegged again in the hot tub.

Today we got up, wandered the town again, had an old time photograph taken (where you dress up in the old clothes and look tough), then headed to our next hotel which is closer to my brother. We went to their house and hung out for awhile before heading to dinner. Then my brother, sister in law and nephew came back to our hotel and swam. We are all so tired LOL

Tomorrow we are going to my nephews soccer game then hit The Boondocks. Overall we are having a great time :) I'll post more pictures on Sunday when I return and go through all of them, I've taken a ton!!

I found SITS through my blogger friend Lisa. She had it on her page so I went over there to check it out and I was a bit confused at first what it was about. But then realized they do a post a day and feature a blogger. Then everyone comments on that post as well as the featured bloggers post and on and on...see where I'm going with this? Hope everyone had a great weekend, I know I sure did :)

Saturday night ended up being so much fun! We started at the Irish Festival and then my date...ok ok ok he has a name, it is Greg, we went and hit another couple of bars before heading home. Jess has some pictures on her blog so you can see him too LOL She calls him 'George'.

Sunday I was a complete bum!

Today is work and get through ALL my laundry so I can get it packed up. Kyler has a game at 4pm even though they don't have school because of the holiday. Weird I know!!

So I'm not going to keep counting...

Yup that's right, had another unplanned date last night LOL We went to his town's high school football game then hit a couple bars. I met lots of his friends and had such a good time. They kept telling him 'she's pretty, you need to bring her back' *blushes* We are still going out tonight so he will get to meet some of my friends! I got home late late last night (2:45am) because we closed down the bar then I had a 40 min drive home...lordy!

8am came waaaaaay too early today! Remind me why I do volleyball again? Kidding!! But I think I ran more this morning than any other week! The girls were hitting balls everywhere and I had to chase them! Maybe they knew to torture me!?!

I need to get motivated to clean and do laundry...ugh.....

Sooooo hot and steamy....*sigh*

So date #2 was really nice, we went to see Night in Rodanthe. It was actually a really good movie. Nothing WOW but overall good story line. Date and I joked around alot (I told him to cover his eyes in the looooooooove scenes) before and during the movie. But I tell ya, I was so flippin wore out from the day I really wasn't up to doing anything after the movie and he wasn't either because he's had to be to work at 6am this week so we called it a night. Again...only got a big hug but that's no problem with me.

But tomorrow we have date #3 which I am SO excited about because I also get to hang with my girls, Jess and Marissa. Gosh we haven't all three hung out in MONTHS!!! Jess gets to not only meet my date...but gets to meet Marissa's new boy toy. I have a feeling Jess is going to enjoy tormenting us all...LOL

Kyler's team lost again yesterday...ugh poor kid. But he had some incredible tackles, I was so proud of him. Miranda hung out in the trees with friends LOL Here are a few pictures.

Funny Accents

So the foreign guys think that it's ME who sounds funny....NOT! One guy is in France, one guy is in Germany and the gal in Ireland is actually from the states so she sounds normal ;) Training is going well, actually a bit ahead of schedule which is nice!! Tomorrow session won't go the full 2 1/2 hours YAY!

Today is going to be an insane day. Let me outline it for you -

6:00am - actually got up AND showered AND put makeup on and did my hair. This doesn't happen on a normal day :)

6:45-7:45 - kids came from their dads and I got them off to school, had to make a stop at Wal-mart for folders for Kyler

8:00-10:30 - trained the fuzzy foreigners :)

10:30-10:45 - catch up on blogs hehe

11:00-1:00 - pick up Kyler from school, drive 30 minutes to his ortho appointment, grab lunch, drive 30 minutes to get him back to school and hopefully back home for a 1:00 conf call.

1:00-2:30 - work conf call

2:45-4:00 - pick up Miranda few minutes early from school and grab a snack. Drive 40 min to where Kyler plays football today. Funny thing is, my date lives in the town where Kyler is playing at but works in another town LOL

4:00-5:30 - cheer my butt off for Kyler and take lots of pictures

5:30-6:30 - drive back home and wait for the ex to pick up the kids while trying to freshen up

6:30-7:00 - drive to the theater to meet my date

7:20-9:00 - watch the movie!!!

9:00 - ??? - who knows!!!

Whew....now I'm even more exhausted :)
