I'm giving my readers an assignment if you so choose to accept it -
- what 1-5 songs motiviate you the most?
- What would be the best songs for me to add to my current list of music?
- What website would you recommend me look at to get ideas??
I'm open to anything!!!
I did some calculating this morning and to reach my goals that I mentioned before, I only need to lose 1.5 lbs a week! I was thinking I was going to have to kill myself for it!! Realizing that is all I need to do made me super happy because when I weighed after my first week and had only lost 1.5 lbs, I was a little upset but hey...I'm right on target!!!

I love to listen to fast music while working out. Dance music is always good as long as there isn't too much techno in it. That can get a bit too pulsating for me. As for the loss so far. Good job and good goals too. I'm proud of you.
I love MOST music from the 80's. It's always good to hear stuff that brings you back in time :D
I agree with Amy, I love 80's music too. You can go to playlist.com and check out what other people have for their blogs, facebooks and on and on. That might give you some ideas. Good luck!
shake yo' tailfeather.
toxic. britney
footloose
Miss New Bootay (fitting hehe)
Justin Timberlake/Timbaland music gets me moving.
80s music for sure!
How about some ladies?
Eurythmics - Sweet Dream (Are Made of This)
Heart - Barracuda
Blondie - Call Me
She Bop - Cyndi Lauper
Here's a couple...
Stronger by Kanye West
Single Girls by Beyonce
I like any song on the album Pretty Hate Machine by NIN
Good job on working out...keep it up!!!
I love Brandy's suggestions, and I agree with Bird about the fast stuff...of course, that just depends on your type of workout, too. Here are a few songs from my ipod to help out. These are songs I love to sing along with and usually...get carried away. :)
1. Total Eclipse of the Heart -Bonnie Tyler
2. Footloose - Kenny Loggins
3. Hurts so Good - John Mellencamp
4. You're so Vain - Carly Simon (not that fast but hey...girl power)
5. Blessed - Martina McBride
I am visiting from SITS. I think that the new song by Mary Mary is very motivating. It sounds like a club song but actually is gospel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGvVj9HMLKs (I don't know your religious views and I am not trying to convert you. I just wanted to let you know up front. If I didn't mention it you probably would not notice that it is gospel).
I have just one song in my Top 5: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, by Cyndy Lauper. It's even my ringtone! Hey there, SITSta! I've got a Great Giveaway Goin' On over at my place. Please drop by when you get a chance!
I have the same problem....Some of the songs that get me going are:
You shook me all night long - AC/DC
I like the way you move - Bodyrockers
Glory Days - Bruce Springsteen
Paradise City - Guns N' Roses
Smoking In The Boys Room - Motley Crue
