Friday night I went to the KC Royals vs Indians game and got to play a little bit with my new camera. Oh I forgot to mention I bought a super duper zoom lens also :) It was fireworks Friday but the pictures didnt turn out the best. Here's some anyways...
Saturday was my first volleyball game, I mean Miranda's first game right? haha!! The girls had SO much fun! We won the first two games then lost the last two games. I was really happy with how the girls played and I think they really enjoyed it too. Miranda did awesome! I was coaching so of course couldn't take pictures but Jess might make it to next week's game so she promised to take a bunch! I'll let her play with my new camera even!
Saturday night I was a complete bum, rented two movies and vegged on my couch. I got 'What Happens in Vegas' and 'Sleepwalking'. Vegas was hillarious, Sleepwalking was dark and strange.
Sunday did the grocery thing and watched some football. Kids came home about 6ish and played with their friends for awhile.
Like I said...nothing too exciting!!!

My weekend wasn't that exciting either! I didn't really go anywhere and I didn't really do anything.

Ever since the olympics, I have been so into volleyball! I'm hoping my youngest might express an interest in it.

Hey, I now miss the Royals so much. Haven't been to a ball game since leaving KC.
As for the VB team. Yeah team!
I have a fun idea if you want to think ahead for gifts for the kids. You can make each of them a book with the photos you/friend/family take during the games. You can make the same album as many times as you need for players at Walmart.com. They have some nice albums for decent prices. I did this for my daughter's little gym class. Memories forever.
I just want a weekend filled with sitting on the couch watching movies...that would be more than exciting to me! lol
