I tore out more landscaping crap today. The lucky receipients were two rose bushes that had the biggest thorns I have ever seen. The poor kids were constantly getting poked by them and they really only bloomed for a week or so. The before doesn't really capture everything but you can see with the after all the dirt spots, yea that's where everything was before. It's amazing what a little bit does to make my yard look bigger already!!

Are you going to plant something in their place? Looks like a nice and shady spot/yard. Perfect for a nap.
We've been doing a lot of yardwork, too. It's been so pleasant during August--unlike a lot of the country, the temps have been pretty mild. So we have no excuses, if you know what I mean. BTW, I'm hosting a giveaway that you might be interested in. Drop on by and take a look around!
I miss having a yard... except when it's time to mow.
WOW...ur my hero! You redo your own house and do the yard work? I can't even get myself to clean out my closet!
Hope you had a good holiday weekend!
That's great! I have so much work to do in my yard. I don't plan on working on it again though til next summer.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting this a.m.
I love Denver too and would move back there in a heartbeat if given the chance. How fun and exciting that you'll get to be is San Francisco soon. I know you'll have fun taking pics with that new camera of yours.

I have so neglected my poor back yard - do you feel like stopping by and taking care of it for me?!
