Already???

As I walked into the fine Wal-Mart establishment this morning I was greeted by this huge Christmas tree and signs pointing to the Christmas shop! UGHHHHH!!! I hate that they are already doing this! I kid you not, I was there less than 12 hours earlier and this stuff was NOT up! The little Wal-Mart elves were busy last night I guess. Sorry, I have a scrooge side to me that comes out often!

On a brighter note, Miranda is feeling much better. I spent $20 at the doctor's yesterday to tell me that it's just her normal allergies and to continue with the Zyrtec and to add some over the counter cough stuff. Wow, I could've told ya that but I wanted to just make sure because had I not taken her, I'm sure it would've been worse. That's how it usually goes right??

On an even brighter note, I scheduled all of my vacation days! I basically have off every Friday off through the end of the year starting next week! I threw in a couple of Mondays and other days too since some Fridays were already holidays. Yay!!

Hey there, add me on! I already added you too, it's nice to read a local blogger. :) I'm with you on the Scrooge thing, I've tried very hard to outgrow it as my children get older, but it's been in me for so long. LOL Divorced parents during my high school and college years left a huge burden on me to try and keep holidays as normal as possible for my younger siblings, and thus $$$ came from me - and I had none!! Scrooge...go away. I am willing it out...

I hope you voted or will be voting today!

I know it stinks to see all the Christmas stuff already but it is November. The tree has been up since Saturday at the Mall that I work at and decorations were up in the stores already! I love Christmas though! But, I don't usually decorate until Thanksgiving weekend. I think it is only 50 days until Christmas now....Yikes.

Glad Miranda is feeling better.

Oh I know! I just read that Santa will be here in a week! Are you serious?

I love the holidays but dang, give me a minute to eat all this halloween candy before bombarding me mkay?!

Very nice re. the days off. Yippy! I hate that many stores have had Christmas stuff out since Sept. here. I don't get it. Makes a person want to be a scrooge just to prove a point to "The Retail Man." Sorry I haven't been around much. It's been a little crazy lately.

I hate that the holiday stuff is shoved down our throats. Especially so soon :(

OMG I know here they had the Halloween shelves right next to the Christmas ones. It's crazy. It doesn't start for me til after the Thanksgiving dishes are put away.
Just something about starting one holiday before the next one begins that gets to me.

I know what you mean. I ran in Walgreens this afternoon and they were fast putting Christmas things out in there.

I can't believe Christmas is so close. I am not ready at all. I wish it was still summer! ha!

Yeah, it's crazy how 'they' are starting to put up Christmas decorations earlier and earlier. On Oct 30th I noticed a HUGE "Happy Holidays" red and silver tinsel display outside our neighborhood shopping center. I was all, "Really? Halloween is tomorrow...Christmas decor already?" But then again, I LOVE Christmas, but just wish it wasn't so commercial, ya know?

That's funny. We have that same exact tree at our wal-mart. Creative aren't they?

Every Friday off. Well done. Nothing better than long weekends when you work hard during the week.

I posted about Christmas the other day too. I can't believe Halloween was boxed up and christmas magically appeared overnight.
