LOVE Short Work Weeks

Not that most of mine have already been cut down to 4 day work weeks since I've taken Fridays off but I have a 3 day work with this week AND next week cuz I took next Monday off as well.

Wow, that was the longest sentence ever huh?

My boss is back today though, she's been off the past 2 weeks on her honeymoon. I'm sure she's playing serious catch up. I sent her a quick instant message welcoming her back and haven't heard from her since!

Don't you hate it when you have a pet that doesn't feel good? Kasey, my old girl, has an upset stomach. I can hear it gurgling, poor thing. She ate grass when she went out last so you know what that has led to...ugh. Usually when I pet her, Maddie goes insanely jealous and jumps on you, bites your arm, basically anything to say HEYYY LOOKIE MEEEE! Well today after Kasey lost her cookies, I was gently petting her back and Maddie was standing there looking at Kasey wondering what the hell she was doing. Then Maddie slowly came up and put her head under my arm to get close to both of us to basically check on her. It was so damn cute.

Nothing more of importance to report, just another typical Monday :)

I love the short weeks too. Short weeks mean the kids can sleep in and no homework in our home. I also hate it when pets don't feel well. 2 years ago, I was clueless on not giving dogs turkey. Sota was sick for days, both ends it was not good! I learned my lesson! I now know dogs don't get chocolate, grapes or turkey. I hope Kasey feels better.

my dogs are extremely jealous of each other! if I'm giving Chunk attention then Chloe ALWAYS pushes him out of the way or starts jumping on me....

Oh poor puppy...I hate when they're sick! I wish it was Thursday already, short weeks seem long sometimes because of the anticipation.

Thanks for your posts about my dad, it means alot!! I'm really looking forward to going up there, not the cold though, definitely not used to that and the stress of driving in the snow.

Luckily I lived there for 2 years and got used to it, my husband has never driven in snow and refuses to...so it's just me grippin the steering wheel, and watching the temperature to prepare for black ice. I'm excited though!!

Awe! Poor puppy. Feel better soon sweetie. Take that pitty from your sister as long as you can. If she's anthing like my other dogs she'll be back to her normal envious self in no time. Trish, thanks for your sweet comment today on my blog and at SITS. YOU ROCK my dear. Happy short weeks to you!

What's up Maverick!

My husband said yesterday that he's not dreading going back to work as much this week cause he only has to go for 2 days. Short work weeks rock.

And yes. It's a bummer when the pets get sick. It's not like they can tell you what they need or anything.
