Guess what? NO FOOTBALL

LOL haha just had to do it sorry!! Actually football practice was cancelled today due to the rain (hehe got some in anyways)

I have been a bum the past two evenings which is SO wonderful. The kids go to their dad's on Wed/Thurs nights so it's TRISHY TIME! What do I usually do you ask? Ummm sit on my couch and catch up on DVR shows. Wow exciting I know...calm down!

Actually I am single again *gasp* yes yes I know...the girl that seems to always be in a relationship is single. Eh it's ok, it was my choice. He was a great guy, just couldn't force feelings that weren't there, not fair to either of us. So I have been looking at these online dating sites. Wow, scary huh? I did decide to create a profile on Yahoo personals (for you stalkers LOL) but I might also do one on Match.com except I found my ex on there less than a week after we split so might give that one some time. I will stay far far far far far far far (breathe....) far away from eHarmony. That sight scares the daylights outta me. All I think about is weddings and getting married when I think of eHarmony and trust me people, MARRIAGE IS THE FARTHEST THING FROM MY MIND!!! Ah ok got that off my chest. Ok so back to these personal ads. Jess read mine and said it wasn't too cheesy so I think I'm ok. I have gotten a couple 'icebreakers' which are cheesy opening dialog lines. I have yet to reply to any because um, I don't know how to turn someone down other than not replying on there yet.

If anyone has done a personal ad online, I'd LOVE to hear your stories. Heck even if you didn't do a personal ad but met someone in a non traditional way, spill it!!

I've never written one but I helped a friend do match.com and she had a blast! I actually know quite a few people who have met online. I'm sure those numbers will only go up.

My brother is on one of the dating services. My girlfriend and her hubby met through one. They lived an hour from each other in WI their whole lives and ended up meeting through a dating service while being stationed in and attending college in Las Vegas. Not sure if it was the dating service or Vegas that was the key for them but they're happy none the less. Have fun meeting new people. DO everything possible to avoid the jerks. :)

My cousin met his wife on match.com .... they couldn't be ANY MORE made for each other. I know a few other couples who met that way, too. At first it seemed freaky, but I think it's a great concept. Weed out the ones that for sure wouldn't 'match' up with ya. :)

You are brave...I would be too afraid of stalkers. My friend did it, I'll ask what her approach was. I don't know if you'd want it because she did get a stalker never even met the guy only talked on the phone. He was ready to marry her...EEEEEK!

Oh by the way, I met my husband on the football field...surprise surprise!!LOL! I know four other couples who met their spouse on the field too. Soooo, watch out on the field, those dad's are prowlers, J.K.
