Over the hump

YES thank god yesterday is FINALLY OVER!!! That's all I am going to say :)

The kids and I went to our high school football game last night. It was the Bi-District game. Paola won so now they will play on Saturday in the Regional game. Good luck boys!! It was cool to see how many people came out 1) on a Tuesday and 2) on that night of all nights.

My son has decided to try wrestling...ugh. I am not a wrestling fan what so ever but this is kind of a trial. He has gone to practice this week and will get to wrestle in a match on Thursday. I secretly am hoping he gets his butt whooped and he hates it but I know in my head that he is going to love it. He talks NON STOP about it right now so maybe he will be a late bloomer and do well. I guess we will see!

I haven't been good at updating you on how the kids and I are doing in my football pick'em. As of right now through week 9 we stand like this -

Me - in a two way tie for 3rd (my brother and sister in law are 1st and 2nd)
Kyler - in 9th
Miranda - in a two way tie for 10th

Not too bad for 18 people playing!!

Wow! I'm impressed with your FB standing. I hope your son enjoys wrestling. I dated a couple wrestlers in HS. At first, I thought it was strange but later learned how much physical strength and mental strength it takes. They'll match him w/someone his in his own weight category so that'll help him too.

Ewwww, wrestling? Is he aware of the uniform and cauliflower ear?

Eeeww and jock itch on the face?

We are in a football pool too, but it's more like 100+ people this year. And DH is sucking. Bad. I don't normally pick because I hate football and would choose based on team colors. LOL!

Maybe he won't like the wedgies that the uniforms are sure to give. Mine is going out for basketball this year - cause band and track is not enough to keep me running he wants to occupy Dec & Jan too.

Wrestling--that should be interesting! I'm sure unfortunately for you he'll love it! And I am so happy yesterday is over too!

Interesting! The Boy was given a paper at football the other day for a wrestling league. I had to pass, though, because I need the break between football and baseball. Besides, it would overlap with The Girl's gymnastics competitions!
